Mercy Aigbe and her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry, slam each other over her Father’s Day post

Actress Mercy Aigbe and her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry have b you n in an online tussle since Mercy made a contradictory post on Father’s Day.

Mercy shared a post on Instagram, celebrating herself for playing the role of both father and mother in the life of her two children. She made a statement implying that she pays her children’s school fees and if a man cannot perform his responsibilities as a man, he is not worth celebrating because fatherhood goes beyond impregnating a woman.

In response, her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry made a retaliating post on Instagram, celebrating himself as a father while also throwing shade at Mercy.

In Lanre’s post, he said most women celebrate themselves on father’s Day, yet they can’t play the role of being mother’s or housewives to their husbands and kids. He said most of these women are from broken homes and don’t have good backgrounds, that’s why they can’t put their own families together.

Looks like Mercy could not endure the comeback, as she in response, tagged Lanre a useless and shameless father.

Mercy wrote,  “Mr Lanre Gentry you better stop with the stupid lies! You better don’t just infuriate me! Lara Gentry call your useless father to order oh!!!! Cos really I have had enough of his nonsense!!!!!
