“Nigerians are Dumb”- Kemi Olunloyo blows hot as she claims Psquare Never Broke Up
Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, while reacting to Peter and Paul Okoye’s reconciliation, claims that they never split as people thought, but instead played a smart one on Nigerians and they were dumb enough to fall for it.
Days ago, it was reported that Peter and Paul Okoye started following each other on Instagram again after they parted ways to pursue their solo careers. Likewise, Jude Okoye, their elder brother, who was said to have orchestrated their beef also reconciled with Peter and they started following each other on Instagram.
The twin brothers performed at their 40th birthday bash for the first time in about five years. In a video snippet that surfaced online, legendary music producer, Don Jazzy, was also seen on stage with the Okoye brothers as they sang along to their hit song, ‘Collabo’.
In reaction to their reconciliation, Kemi Olunloyo thinks their disbandment was simply a PR stunt. She claims that Peter and Paul never broke up as people thought, rather the only place they parted ways was on Instagram.
Not stopping there, she described Nigerians as unintelligent people who failed to understand that it was a mere online stunt devised by the twin brothers and she wouldn’t be surprised if they start crowdfunding for a new album from Psquare.
She wrote:
“Nigeria’s PSquare singing twin duo NEVER broke up. Only place they did was on Instagram. Nigerians are smart but NOT intelligent #SBNI I won’t be surprised if they start crowdfunding too like DAVIDO and myself to fund a new album. Nothing wrong with that. US artist do that @kickstarter all the time
#kemitalksmusic”
Could Kemi Olunloyo be right? Because a few hours after her post, the twin brothers set up a crowdfunding account, just like Davido.
Now the question on everyone’s mind, “Are they just following the trend?” Or “Is Kemi’s suspicions right?”
Meanwhile, as the twin brothers celebrated their birthday on Thursday, Anita Okoye, wife of Paul Okoye took to her Instagram page to celebrate them, whilst revealing that she is grateful they didn’t make her choose sides in the cause of their feud.
She wrote:
“Dem be one no be two! Happy Birthday Ejima (twins). This is best birthday present either of you could receive!
Thank you for letting me have such a great relationship with both of you independent of your rift. I am delighted I didn’t let your coconut heads let me choose sides.
There’s a lesson here: Do not ever involve yourself in a tiff that doesn’t concern you and don’t let social media and the opinion of those who do not matter define your situation! Let God guide you! Love wins.”
