Popular Kannywood director, Aminu Bono is dead and laid to rest

Kannywood film director, Aminu Surajo Bono, is dead.

According to reports, the director collapsed on Monday night and was quickly taken to the hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him dead upon arrival.

His colleague Babangida Bangis confirmed his death in a post.

He wasn’t sick,” Bangis said. We were meant to meet earlier, but after our phone call, I was notified that he collapsed and was transported to the hospital, where physicians confirmed his death.”

Director Bangis further stated that the funeral will be held Tuesday morning in accordance with Muslim traditions.

Also confirming his death, actor Ali Nuhu, in an Instagram post, paid tributes to Bono.

Sharing his picture, he wrote: “May God have mercy on Aminu .S. Bono and make paradise your final abode.”
