Ruger and BNXN squash beef as they tease possible collaboration

For the past two years, Nigerian music stars Ruger and BNXN have been at loggerheads with the two exchanging words on social media, over a battle for supremacy.

In a recent development, Ruger and BNXN, formerly known as Buju appears to have called it quits on their prolonged feud, hinting at a potential future collaboration.

Ruger recently took to his X page to share a picture of himself and BNXN together in what looks like a video shoot for a music video.

Captioning the photo, Ruger wrote:

“MAYBE ROMEO MUST DIE”

The tweet has since sparked reactions from thrilled fan who have closely followed the two artists’ feud, which began in 2022.

One Kay wrote: “Ruger and Buju teaming up to deliver a banger”

Itohan revealed: “They’ve always been friends lowkey”

Reverse Truth stated: “No gree for anybody” But this two werey Don go reconcile. Oya nah!! Na only una go Jam una song”

Musk Jnr asked: “ahh no more beef? 😂😂”

Dee Dee noted: “Ruger I’ll be listening because of you💋”

whereis__mona commented: “Edited or not??”

agunwa200: “Make una scatter everywhere make we rest.”

tee_ranfire: “Coook that thing! x the pen… Let’s have it ! Let the comparison fell in the streams.”

sheiselfiii: “How did this happen? I’m really really glad tho.:”

7__speed: “Everywhere done burst.”

wahalaroom: “Only me I dun stream the song 20 Million times already .”

jhayhne_: “the duo we never thought we needed I’m alive.”

The conflict between the two started in 2022 after a random Twitter (Now X) user told Ruger that BNXN had more hit songs than him before the Dancehall Act replied that he had more solo hits than BNXN. Things went downhill from there with both acts exchanging words on Twitter over who had more money and hit songs.

The Headies would also place both of them in the Next Rated category in 2022 which further fuelled their differences although BNXN played down the beef when he said he loved Ruger in his acceptance speech.

Although there’s no official announcement of a collaboration between the duo, fans would undoubtedly be eager to see the two of Afrobeat stars combine their talents.
