Toke Makinwa – Public Validation Does Not Put Money In Your Pocket.

Few days after being called out on Twitter, Nigerian OAP and actress Toke Makinwa has penned down a word of advice for her followers.

You’ll recall the recent trend on social media, “stingy men association and stingy women association,” has got lots of people talking.

Well, Toke Makinwa was slammed on Twitter after her post about joining the stingy women association. Many ladies misunderstood her tweet when she said all legs closed, as the men have decided to be stingy with money.

The media personality was accused of indulging in sexual acts to make her money. She was also dragged for equating men with money and women with sex.

Not just that, some claimed that Toke’s tweet only reveal that women have nothing to bring to the table other than sex.

Well, Toke seems to care less about people’s opinions as she took to her tweeter page to advise people to have the courage to live their lives and be disliked.

She also stated that public validation does not put money in anyone’s pocket. She twitted:

”Have the courage to be disliked, and public validation does not put money in your pocket. Your lane might not be popular, but you are living your truth, and that’s so much more than a lot of people in the crowd can boast of. Do YOU”
