UCL: Real Madrid continue perfect start to title defence
Real Madrid continued their perfect start to their Champions League title defence with a 2-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.
The game was pretty much a first half affair as all the goals came before the break.
Rodrygo opened the scoring for Carlo Ancelotti’s side in the 13 minutes, before Vinicius Jr , made it two in the 28th minute.
Eleven minutes later, Oleksandr Zubkov pulled one back for the Ukrainian side.
The result, Madrid’s third win in three games, leaves the defending Champions at the top of Group F with nine points.
