“We don’t want a repeat of what happened last time”-  Kate Henshaw sends strong warning to INEC

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has sent a strong note of warning to the Independent National Electoral Commission ahead of the gubernatorial election slated to hold today, 18th March.

Reminiscing on the lapses which happened during the 2023 general election held on 25th February, Kate Henshaw took to the microblogging platform to urge the electoral body to do better. She asked that their staff get all the necessary equipment ready in order to avoid repetition.

She tweeted: “Calling on @ineclagos @inecnigeria staff. Please pack your equipment well this night o. Bring our complete BVAS plus ink pad, cellotape, pens & enough ballot papers to avoid stories that touch. We don’t want a repeat of what happened last time. Come on time too. Tanx”.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages, Musiliu Akisanya better known as MC Oluomo addressed his people ahead of the election. He told them to move to the next step once they see they are losing. He further said if they notice they are losing, they know what to do. He also advised anyone who wouldn’t be voting for his preferred candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to stay at home. 

“Iya Chukwudi, if you know you no wan give for us, sidon for your home o”, he bragged.

Reacting to MC Oluomo’s threats, DJ Switch said the former is not the only crazy one in Lagos, and therefore charged Lagosians to work cordially and defend their votes.

She tweeted: “Make friends tomorrow… stay in groups! Protect and defend your votes! No be only MC Oluomo dey crase! Change it for them… so they can have a rethink and do something with their lives moving forward! Arrant nonsense!”
