Wizkid Changes his Signature name to Big Wiz
It has just been noticed that Nigerian award-winning singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has changed his name to Big Wiz on his Instagram bio.
The Grammy award winner could be heeding the advice of fans who advised him to change his name since he is no longer the young upcoming Wizzy or he could just be following the changing trend in Nigeria.
The singer’s fans had suggested that the name “Wizkid” be replaced with something more befitting noting that their star isn’t a “kid” anymore as a person and also in the entertainment industry.
Following either of the earlier stated, Wizkid changed his name in a recent update on Instagram in his bio section to “Big Wiz”, which of course triggered the reactions of fans.

Well, the name change seems to portray growth and transformation, as his fans had earlier been rooting for, being that he is no longer the young chap in the music industry, but metamorphosing into a musical giant.
