Davido Unveils New Tattoo in Honor of Late Obama DMW

Top Nigerian Artiste, David has continued to mourn his late aide, friend and associate, Obama DMW, as he immortalized him with a tattoo of his nickname, ’44.’

Habeeb Uthman, a.k.a Obama DMW, died on the 29th of June 2021, after driving himself to the hospital, shortly after complaining of chest pain. 

In a new post shared on Davido’s insta story, he showed off the new tattoo he inked on his body in honor of his late friend, Obama DMW.

Davido’s new tattoo is an inscription of the phrase “44 O fe rege” in memory of his now demised aide. The singer also recently got a frame made with a picture of him and Obama in it.

Davido and the late Obama had a very close bond, which caused the singer to suffer a serious emotional trauma after his demise.

With a broken heart, the singer penned an emotional tribute to Obama. Part of it reads;

“This is by far the hardest thing I’ve had to write.. I am hurt, broken, sad and lost. For the first time in my life, I am EXTREMELY confused. The pain is one I cannot explain. 44 was more than an elder brother to me, he was a protector. He was someone that literally just always made me smile. He would do absolutely anything to make me smile, no matter the issue or problems I had. His response was always “Don’t worry, I’ll talk to them “, “Don’t worry, I’ll sort it out”, “Don’t worry I’ll give them something”. I would never believe in a million years I will be writing a tribute like this to someone so dear to me this soon. All my life, it’s been “David you’re strong, David you’re strong”. 44 I won’t lie to you, this time around, this one “Weak me!”.
