Ariana Grande now Dating Ethan Slater shortly after splitting from Dalton Gomez

News of Grande’s split from Dalton, whom she’s been married for two years, broke after Grande was spotted at Wimbledon with neither her wedding ring nor her husband. 

Shortly after, it was confirmed with a source saying that the duo separated earlier this year and “have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship.” TMZ reported Grande and Gomez had been separated since January.

Upon checking her Instagram page, Ariana had removed photographs of her and Dalton Gomez’s wedding from her Instagram.

While Dalton Gomez is still in the hopes of getting his former wife back, Ariana has moved on with one of her “Wicked’ costars, Ethan Slater.

Ethan has been married to singer Lilly Jay since 2018, and they welcomed a son last year. TMZ sources say Ariana and Ethan did not start dating until after he separated from Lilly.

Ariana and Gomez  married in May 2021 at a small ceremony in front of fewer than 20 guests, including friends and family, in the singer’s home in Montecito, California.

A source told US Weekly: “Dalton has been devastated by it.”

“A separation is not what he wanted. He wanted the fairy tale, happy ending, and it’s not looking that way.”

“Dalton is really hoping to make things work with Ariana,” the second insider shared.

“Despite the rocky patches they’ve been through, he isn’t ready to give up on their marriage. He saw himself spending the rest of his life with Ariana and will do anything to get past this,’ they added.
