BBNaija6: Biggie Initiates a New Twist in the Game as Maria wins Head of House

The fourth week of the Big Brother Naija season six reality show has experienced a new twist as Maria emerges as the new Head of House.

Maria was the outgoing Deputy Head of House and surprisingly won the new week’s Head of House. Maria unexpectedly picked Boma as the Deputy Head of House, instead of Pere, who had earlier picked her as his deputy.

Maria told Liquorose when they were discussing strategy, that she didn’t pick Pere as her deputy because she wants peace to reign in the house after a chaotic week under Pere’s regime.

Having emerged as the winner of this week’s HOH, Maria still remains barred from the HOH Lounge. Since Maria’s ba hasn’t been lifted, DHOH Boma was asked to invite someone else to the lounge and he picked Jackie B, again.

Biggi however initiated a new twist to the game, which he revealed to only Maria. Here’s how this week’s show is going to be:

1. There will be no nominations this week

2. There will be no public voting

3. There will be no evictions on Sunday

Maria was asked to keep the eviction part a secret. She had to convince the Housemates that Biggie has scrapped today’s nominations and has given her the absolute power to evict two housemates on Sunday.

Maria also had to convince the house that the Housemates who least impress her will be evicted. She had to tell them that she’ll create a scoring/ranking system for the Housemates. “Please do not turn them to slaves,” Biggie said

Big Brother said, “Today’s nomination comes with a twist. Big Brother would like you to listen carefully. This week, there are no nominations and no public votes. Therefore, no eviction comes Sunday.

The last part, that is, the no eviction on Sunday, Big Brother would like you to keep it a secret from your fellow housemates. You are not to disclose this to any of your fellow housemates including your deputy.

Maria, you are to convince the house that Big Brother has scrapped today’s nominations and has given you the absolute power to evict two housemates on Sunday. Convince the house that the housemates who least impress you will be evicted. Tell them that you will develop a scoring system or a system of ranking them. You have the freedom to build on these rules as you desire”.

To make the twist look real, Big Brother provided Maria with a writing sheet and a pen to enable her to develop a scoring system.

Big Brother promised Maria that there is a reward for her if she can successfully convince her housemates to believe the twist. However, failure to do so will come with a consequence.

After the Diary session, Maria showed her good acting skills as she tearfully told the housemates that there are no nominations and she’ll have to choose two housemates for eviction on Sunday. The housemates believed her and even made attempts to console her. 

She further addressed them stating that she does not dislike anybody but will only do as she is told.
