Burna Boy And Wizkid Wins Big At The MOBO 2020 Award.
The music of black origin awards “mobo” was held yesterday, December 9, 2020, with Chunkz and Maya Jama as the host and surprise guest presenters like Neelam gill, Leomie Anderson, and Jourdan Dunn. The show was hosted live on B.B.C. and streamed on YouTube.
Headie One, Kojey Radical, Tiwa savage, Ms banks, and H.E.R came through with a fantastic performance. The awards were presented by
Nines and Mahalia take the lead, winning a total of two awards. Nines won album of the year for Crabs in a Bucket and best hip-hop act. While Mahalia won best female act and best R&B/soul act, which happens to be her first significant music awards win.
Burna Boy and Wizkid were also among those that won in the just concluded mobo awards. Burnaboy won in the category of the Best international act (public vote): Burna Boy. At the same time, Wizkid bagged the award in the Best African Act.
