Businessman, Abu Salami sues singer Davido for breach of contract; documents Leak online

Businessman, Abu Salami has now taken legal action against the superstar singer, Davido for breaking their agreement which cost him 218 million naira.

It would be recalled that weeks ago, Abu Salami had called out the singer on Instagram, with claims that he paid Davido a whooping N218 million naira to influence a project for kids but refused to fulfill his own side of the bargain. Salami said David has also refused to refund the cash and he is currently being bullied by the singer’s lawyers and boys.

In a lengthy post, Abi Salami said he had paid the singer 218 million naira out of a 326 million naira project. He revealed that a day had been set and he, the businessman, had to travel 20 different states with an 11-man production team, looking for young talented footballers, only for the singer to cancel.

He said that Davido’s cancellation alone had cost him 42 million naira, adding that he begged the singer to post the commercial which he ended up doing in his garden because he couldn’t do it in a stadium, but the singer refused.

Abu Salami also shared screenshots of his alleged chat with Davido to back up his claim. He also shared receipts of the different times he sent money to Davido and his lawyer and the times he sorted their food, hotel, and domestic fees. 

After days of dragging him online, Abu Salami has now taken legal action against the singer, as viral reports have revealed that the businessman slammed a lawsuit on Davido.

A  post made by a Twitter user identified as @Winco_3 showed several documents that are alleged to belong to the case involving Davido and Abu Salami.

He quoted the alleged words of Abu Salami saying that the case has now been taken to the real-life now that they have succeeded in gathering the attention of the people.

He wrote: “Now that we’ve got the world’s attention, let’s take it to the real life court.”
