Davido becomes the most shazamed Artiste in Nigeria for the year

Nigerian Afrobeat star, Davido Adeleke has hit yet another milestone as he’s named the most shazamed Artiste in Nigeria for the year.

Shazam is an application that can identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played and using the microphone on the device.

This means that large number of people in Nigeria use the application to search and identify Davido’s songs whenever it comes on.

However, this news comes after CKay’s smash tune ‘Love Nwantiti’ became the most shazamed song in the world and Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ also recently became the most shazamed song in the United States of America.

Meanwhile, while speaking with CNN, Davido spoke about the movement of Afrobeats to the world, saying that nothing is impossible to achieve.
