Davido’s Aide, Obama DMW Has Been Buried
Davido’s close friend and associate, Habeeb Uthman, popularly known as Obama DMW, has been laid to rest at Epe, Lagos, according to Muslim rites.
Obama DMW reportedly died of suspected heart failure at a hospital in Lekki, Lagos State, on Tuesday, June 29. Reports had it that he drove himself to the hospital after he complained of breathing difficulty. Sadly, he died on the same day.
Following his passing, there was a viral video of his remains been laid to rest. In one of the videos, some young men were seen digging the grave of the late entertainer. Others lamented about the sudden death of Obama. In another video, the crowd gathered at Obama’s grave as they prepare to lay him to rest.
Nigerians are still trying to take in the sudden passing of Obama. They have taken to social media to pour out their hearts, as well as criticize those who would suddenly claim Love for the entertainer.
Ex-BBNaija housemate, Ike Onyema in an Instagram post, warned people who have fake Love for Obama. Ike said those that have never posted Obama’s photo or commented on his posts on Instagram while he was alive, have no right to post about his death.
In a different post, Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel DMW, said that if people want to celebrate him, they should do so while he is alive, not when he is dead. Israel wrote:
“Celebrate me when I am still alive. Don’t start showing your fake social media love me, my family or Edo people when I am no more. Ogun will kill you instantly.”
Tiwa Savage had earlier shared a video of the late entertainer showing him at different points in his life.
Tiwa described her ‘man’ with so many glowing words. According to her, he was the strongest and
the bravest person she knew and that he was also ready to take a bullet for his loved ones.
