England had opened the campaign with a massive 5-0 win over San Marino at Wembley and although Albania seemed like a more challenging opponent than San Marino, Gareth Southgate’s men didn’t have to sweat it, that much.

England captain, Harry Kane opened the scoring in the first half to take his international goals tally to 33 goal when he slid Luke Shaw’s cross into the back of the net seven minutes before the break.

Mason Mount doubled the lead after the break and although the Three Lions missed out on chances to increase the deficit, the two goals were just enough to secure all three goals for the rather fascinating English side.

England who has gone 23 games unbeaten in World Cup qualifiers will now face their toughest test, yet in the campaign when they take on Robert Lewandowski’s  Poland at Wembley on Wednesday.
