Euro qualifiers: France annihilates Gibraltar in biggest win

France pulled up a ruthless display, leaving no stone unturned in their 14-0 demolition of 10-man Gibraltar in Saturday’s Euro 2024 qualifying, which saw them bag their biggest win in their history.ย 

Les Bleus scored seven goals in each half with their 24 captain, Kylian Mbappe, securing a hat-trick, taking his career goals to 300.

Ethan Santos opened the scoring with an own goal three minutes into the game and from there, Didier Deschamps’ men simply ran riot on the visitors and we’re seven goals up at halftime.ย 

France were already three goals up when Ethan Santos got sent off in the 18th minute in what will probably go down as one of the worst days in his international career. 

France have already qualifed for the Euro 2024 taking place in Germany, but that did not stop them from taking their chances, as they continue their perfect run in the qualifiers which keeps them at the top of Group B with 21 points from seven games.
