Former Davido Signee Lil Frosh, Set To Serve Time In Prison.
Nigerian singer, and former davido signee Sanni Wasiu, popularly known as Lil frosh, who was alleged to have assaulted his girlfriend Okeoghene Gift Iyomaterie late last year, has been sentenced to Ikoyi Correctional Centre till March 9, 2021.
Lil frosh girlfriend Gift had reported that the singer was fond of beating her repeatedly since January 2020, when they newly started dating, to the point of disfiguring her face.
The video vixen, who couldn’t take the maltreatment anymore, took to her Instagram page to share a couple of pictures of her swallen face due to the beaten gotten from Lil Frosh. She wrote:
“He consistently slapped me on the face, kicking, pushing me on other sensitive parts. The recent attack happened in September 2020, when he attacked me and rained blow on my head with bruises on my face. I partially lost my sight and had sleepless nights. He repeatedly boasted that since he is a well-known musician, he is untouchable.”
With the International Association Of Women Lawyers, Lagos State branch supporting Gift, she filed a lawsuit against the singer at the Lagos state Magistrate court in Yaba.
They had their first hearing in court yesterday, Tuesday, February 9. The case was adjourned by the court Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, till March 9, 2021.
Lil frosh was ordered by the magistrate to be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Center. Till the next court hearing on March 9, 2021.
