“I know I let you down”- Simi apologises over her concert

Talented award-winning singer and songwriter, Simisola Kosoko joined several Nigerian artistes who treated their fans to interesting concerts for the festive season.

Simi had a fully-packed ‘Can You Simi Now’ concert at the popular Muri Okunola Park in Lagos on Tuesday, December 28 but the show commenced later than the scheduled time because Simi showed up late.

As expected, the singer’s husband, Adekunle Gold was among those who took out time to support her at the concert. During a performance of their joint collaboration, ‘By You’, the husband and wife sparked sweet reactions as he shared a soft kiss with his beautiful wife on stage. Simi and The Banjos also performed live with a lineup of sensational artists including Falz, Chike, Zoro, Ladipoe and other outstanding guest artists. In an appreciation post to her fans and everyone who participated in making the concert a success, Simi apologized for the late start.

Simi wrote on Instagram;“I apologize for how late we started. Even I was agitated. Many had to leave before the show even started.I know I definitely let you down. E ma binu (Don’t be angry). It takes too many people to make an event like this work and we dropped the ball. Sorry. All in all, it was an incredible show. God is good!Glory to God for the success of this concert. I’m grateful to everyone that came out for me and sang EVERY song at the top of their lungs. I appreciate you so much. Thank you #SimiArmy I love you!”
