Stella initially accused the AGN of not supporting her husband during his battles with diabetes complications.

However, in a recent podcast with the controversial media personality Uche Maduagwu, she retracted these statements and tendered a public apology to the AGN.

During the candid conversation, she admitted that her previous accusations were unfounded and a result of manipulation. She expressed regret for any offense her comments may have caused, emphasizing that she had no intention of disparaging the AGN or anyone associated with it.

In fact, she acknowledged that several people, including actress Kate Henshaw, had shown support by visiting the hospital when Mr. Ibu was critically ill. She further mentioned that as Mr. Ibu was still rather talkative at the time, he and Henshaw talked and joked around. Stella, however, did not share how she was manipulated and by whom.
