I will not advise anyone to go on the Big Brother Naija show – BBN Star, Doyin
Big Brother Naija star, Doyin David has given an unsolicited piece of advice to anyone planning on enrolling on the famous reality TB show, Big Brother Naija.
According to Doyin, the show is not for the faint-hearted, and anyone without strong mental stability shouldn’t be on a reality TV show.
She made this known in an interview with The Morning Brief.
The brand influencer, who was a housemate in Big Brother Naija‘s “Level Up” and “All Stars” seasons, talked about her life after the show and said that the financial element had been thrilling.
However, she believes that it negatively affects one’s mental health since it exposes people to judgment about their lives from others.
Doyin pointed out that despite the show’s flaws, the positive aspects outweigh the negative.
In her words: “I keep saying it. If you are not like mentally grounded and you are not sure about who you are and the type of person that you are, maybe you still have like issues with your mental health, I will not advise you to go on that show.”
In a different scenario, Doyin went blank on some current affairs questions thrown to her on the interview.
The interviewer had first asked her who the inspector general of police is, and she confessed that she didn’t know the man.
Next, beasked her who the Nigeria’s sole Nobel laureate is, and again Doyin drew a blank.
Doyin then implored the interviewer to ask her entertainment questions, as that is her niche.
It is worth knowing that Nigeria’s sole Nobel Prize winner is Wole Soyinka.
