It’s finished’ — Don Jazzy reacts to Rihanna’s pregnancy

Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin Records who has always had a thing for our own ‘Badgalriri’, Rihanna has been left heartbroken and devastated by the news of her pregnancy.

Donjazzy has repeatedly talked about his mad crush on the Barbadian singer. He went as far as sharing a photoshopped picture of himself lying on Rihanna, back in April with the caption; “On thy bosom, I lay”.

He however gave up on any possible relationship with Rihanna when the news of her dating American rapper, A$AP Rocky went viral on social media in 2021.

“So all of you have been seeing this fake news flying around and nobody checked on me. It’s aight,” he wrote in reaction to Rihanna and Rocky’s relationship.

To add insult to injury, on Monday, images surfaced of a heavily pregnant Rihanna and A$AP in Harlem, New York.

Rihanna was photographed in a bright pink $8,000 vintage Chanel coat, which she wore open from just below her breasts, showing off her several months old baby bump. She showed off her bare baby bump, despite the weather which was reported to have dipped down to 24 degrees Fahrenheit that day, just before Winter Storm.

As the news of Rihanna’s pregnancy became public knowledge, Donjazzy shared a cryptic Instagram post accompanied by a picture that spoke millions of words proving how heartbroken he is.

Donjazzy simply posted, “It’s Finished” after he had tweeted “Afternoon Breakfast”.

His tweet raised concerns and some of his colleagues in the industry sent in their consolatory messages.

 @Lasisielenu wrote, “Chaiiiii what a wicked world. But bro, e get one babe near my street, her name na Riri Ayobami. Maaaa follow am talk for you? What do you think bro?”

@funkejenifaakindele consoled him: “He’s (A$SAP) just keeping her company cause you not in the US. I’m sure you will be with her soon. Congrats on the pregnancy Don.”

Earlier, Jazzy had spoken about not being a pro at wooing women. 

“I don’t know how to woo; I like it when people woo me. If I like that person, then I will take it further,” he said

Meanwhile, reports have it that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been dating since November 2020 after years of friendship. The couple had sparked romance rumors since Rihanna split from her boyfriend of three years, billionaire Hassan Jameel, in January 2020. They finally opened up about their relationship in May 2021 when Rocky described Riri to be the “Love of my life”.
