Josh2Funny Reveals his American Got Talent Audition was just a Show

Josh Alfred, a popular Nigerian comedian known as Josh2Funny has disclosed that his appearance on “America’s Got Talent” was merely a show and not an actual audition.

The Internet went agog during the week when the video of his audition went viral. 

In the clip, Josh2Funny executed a 3-stage act. His first act involved going on stage as a speed reader who would read three books in under one minute. 

Josh2Funny’s second act was being the ‘fastest rapper in the world’ known as J Hush and all he did was mumble his words like he did while speed reading.

He came back the third time on the same day as a magician identified as Terrifying Jay. The comedian used a deck of cards to try and perform magic but before he began, Howie gave him a NO buzzer.

The judges were initially perplexed, struggling to grasp the underlying message or joke, it had first left some of the judges irritated and confused until they caught in on his jokes, and one of the judges, Simon Cowell finally gave him a pass unto the next stage.

During a recent interview with Saturday Beats, Josh, however, made it known that the organisers of America’s Got Talent invited him to perform on the reality TV show for comic relief

Josh said; “I was invited to the show to do what I do. I went there to display ‘Josh2funny’, which is what my comedy is about.”

Also thanking fans and supporters, the online comedian said; “Thanks to all the magazines and journals writing about me. Thanks to my fans that always believed. Thanks to the people that respect the work I and my team put in. Thanks to Kreb.”

Josh2funny’s comic performance at the AGT is similar to his social media content, ‘The Audition’, where he plays different funny characters such as a magician, singer, actor and cook.

Seemingly excited to have performed his content on an international stage, Josh made a post on his Instagram with the caption, “Jesus put me on the biggest stage in the world.”
