Nigerian singer Sanni Goriola Wasiu better known as Lil Frosh decided to clear the air on a four-year-old accusation of violence made against him by his ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille a.k.a Cute Gemini.

The young musician went back to the battery case that resulted in his 2020 contract with Davido’s record company, DMW, being terminated.

In the midst of recent rumours that Gift promised to frame her competing TikToker, Cute Barbie, Frosh posted on his Instagram profile on Saturday pleading with Davido to reconsider his stance, seeing the true nature of Cute Gemini has finally been brought to light.

According to Lil Frosh, he never hit his ex-girlfriend, as was widely reported. He also claimed that she set him up on purpose to harm his career. He insisted that the swelling on her face which she claimed was a result of his abuse, was caused by an allergy and that his ex-girlfriend had attempted to use the ruse to frame him.

Lil Frosh wrote; “I thank God for the opportunity that just presented itself,God knows I did not beat Gemini. I was framed I was blackmailed, and after all I paid. I still can’t get my career back because of the lies that was told against me.

Nobody gave me listening ears, I tried to explain to my BOSS @davido but he didn’t want to listen because he has zero tolerance for hitting women. Please guys help me I am innocent, help me beg Davido to give me a chance again, Nigerians God bare me witness I am innocent.

See how everything started on her face, it started with a reaction that caused a boil, we even went to the pharmacy to check what happened to her, sadly after medications the conditions worsened and when it became really big they turned the story that I hit her, and presented these pictures as evidence, I tried to explain nobody wanted to hear me out.

That was the peak of my career, I begged they refused to stop, they collected money and left me empty, NO LABEL,NO LOVE, turned my fans against me, turned Nigerians against me, at a point I almost ended it all, seeing the people I started music with become way bigger than me, my life was a bad news, no motivation anywhere, please guys help me beg @davido for a second chance.”

Cute Gemini responded to Lil Frosh’s statement in a video she shared on her Instagram page with pictures of bruises.

In an effort to patch things up, she said Lil Frosh had been bugging her with calls and text messages.

She provided audio messages displaying his aggressive demeanour, as proof of his threats against her friends.

Sh also asserted that the internal bleeding from the assault she received from Lil Frosh was the cause of her enlarged face and not an allergy like he claims.

Sharing the photos, she wrote;

“YES lilfrosh did hit me countless times, it wasn’t just “a slap“, it was never ever just a slap! I never disrespected his mom! I lost so many pictures and video evidence from the previous beatings and these are the only ones I could get my hands on since it’s been years now and I never knew the day would come again where he’ll want to pin everything on my head! He beat me up and hit me at the back of my head with an iron rod, while beating me I hit my head on the wall and that’s when the swelling n internal bleeding started.”
