Man City come from behind to win Derby against Man Utd

Manchester City overturned a 1-0 lead to score three goals and secure all three points in Sunday’s, Manchester Derby against Manchester United at Etihad Stadium.

Rashford had given United an early 8-minute lead with a screamer, setting the visitors off on a hopeful foot, as they maintained the lead into the break.

After the break, Phil Foden leveled things with a belter of his own in the 55th minute, giving credence to the pressure the hosts have applied in the second half.

United failed to take their chances and pull a charge and were punished for it in the 79th minute when Foden, doubled the lead with a low shot.

Erling Haaland, who had missed a clear sitter in the first half, eventually got on the score sheet as he sealed things off with the third goal right into added time.

The win moved Pep Guardiola’s men within a point behind leaders, Liverpool, while United who have now suffered their 11th defeat of the season, are in 6th place.

City’s next game is against Liverpool, and it promises to be a cracker.
