“Media houses asked me to declare Pete Edochie my biological father”- Actor Kingsley Abasili
Nollywood actor, Kingsley Abasili, who has a striking resemblance with veteran actor Pete Edochie said he had been approached by media houses who asked him to falsely claim that Pete Edochie is his biological father, as criteria to become famous.
In a Twitter post, Kingsley said he is not popular because he doesn’t want to be, or else he would have taken advantage of his resemblance with Pete Edochie.
He also disclosed how media houses offered him the deal to claim Pete is his biological father, as a condition for him to get promoted in the industry, but he rejected the deal because of the love he has for Pete Edochie.
“For those coming to my inbox to mock me, I’m not popular because I refused to be. Media houses approached me asking me to declare Pete Edochie my biological father but I refused.
That was the condition I was given to become famous but I see no reason to do such.
“Being popular is not my business so stop bothering me about it. I love and respect Daddy #peteedochie alot. He’s like a father to me”, he tweeted.
His tweet is coming two years after photos of him and Pete Edochie surfaced online.
