Milan Derby: Inter reigns superior in five-star showpiece

Goals from Henrik Mkhitaryan and Marcus Thuram put Inter ahead at halftime.

After the break, Rafael Leao pulled one back for AC Milan, and Inter reacted with three more goals, ruling out the possibility of a comeback for their arch-rivals.

Inter have now defeated AC Milan in all their five meetings this year and currently sit at the top of the Serie A table, with 12 points, while AC Milan is third with nine points, behind Juventus who currently occupy the second spot with ten points, having secured a 3-1 win over Lazio earlier on Saturday.
