Multichoice Finally Responds to Phyna’s Debt Allegations

The organizers of the reality show, Multichoice Nigeria has finally responded after Phyna called them out for their incomplete payment of her winnings from the show.

The Practitioners of Content Creating, Skit-making, and Influencers Guild, (PCCSIGN) alongside Phyna, filed an official complaint against Big Brother Naija over the outstanding debt owed to the winner of the 7th edition, Josephina Otabor aka Phyna.

The Guild urged Multichoice to facilitate the release of the prizes by the associated brands, noting that it is imperative that sponsors of the Big Brother Naija franchise uphold their commitments to the winners of the show.

Phyna on her part stated that her top priorities are her Bitcoin (BTC) worth over N90M and the Dubai trip promised her.

Phyna described how she has been corresponding with Multichoice and their unfulfilled promises to reply to her in a recently circulated video.

She also revealed that she fell into depression after the reunion because they started making life difficult for her. She claimed that they didn’t give her ‘her’ money and prizes she was entitled to.

Responding to this call out, Phyna has come online to give an update as she reveals that three brands, through multichoice, have agreed to fulfill their pledge.

It was revealed that Pepsi has agreed to supply her with their drinks for one year, Travelbeta has agreed to a trip for two; also, UNIK soap would be supplying her with soap for one year.

However, it was noted that the 1 BTC promised to Phyna is yet to be fulfilled.

Phyna made a new video in response to the latest mail she received from the organizers. She spelt out the errors in their message.

Also, BBNaija season 5 Lockdown housemate, Trikytee urged Phyna to continue pressurizing them because that’s their style of running things, even though he never stated if he’s being wronged by them.

He wrote, “I love this na so dem dey do.”

A public statement released by PCCSIGN on behalf of Phyna read …

“On behalf of the Practitioners of Content Creation, Skit-making, and Influencers Guild (PCCSIGN), we write to you regarding our previous correspondence with your organization concerning Phyna’s outstanding debts. We extend our appreciation for your prompt resolution response concerning the debts owed by MultiChoice Nigeria, encompassing Seven-Up Bottling Company (Pepsi), Travelbeta, and Evans Industries (UNIKSoap).

We wish to inform the public that, through MultiChoice Nigeria, the following brands have committed to fulfilling their obligations to our member, Phyna:

* Pepsi (I-Year Product Supply)

* Travelbeta (A Trip for 2)

* UNIK Soap (I-Year Soap Supply)

While we await a response from MultiChoice Nigeria regarding Quidax Global and the ‘1 BTC’ promised to the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7 (Level Up) housemate, we implore your esteemed brand to honor its commitments and settle the outstanding debt owed to Phyna within three (3) days. Failure to do so will compel us to escalate this matter publicly and pursue legal action against your company. We trust that you will prioritize this issue and work towards a swift and mutually beneficial resolution.

Thank you for your cooperation.”
