Naira Marley, Sam Larry and Zinoleesky make their first public appearance since Mohbad’s death
Nigerian singer, Naira Marley and his aide, Sam Larry alongside Naira’s signee, Zinoleesky have made their first public appearance shortly after their release from police custody, regarding Mohbad’s death.
The singer, along with his close friend Sam Larry, had been detained by the Nigerian Police in connection with the alleged involvement in the death of late Nigerian singer, Mohbad.
Subjected to over five weeks of investigation, they remained in police custody during this period.
In the clip which found its way online, Sam Larry, Naira Marley, Zinoleesky, and one other lad are seen advancing towards a car. Sam Larry held the phone while filming the moment.
Naira Marley who spoke in Yoruba suddenly began hailing Sam Larry as the king.
Translating to English, he said: “Baba is in Lekki; it’s plenty. Presidential himself.”
Another scene showed three of them inside the car as they smiled and gesticulated towards the camera.
The video generated a lot of reactions from netizens who were somewhat disappointed, stating that no matter what, the dead remain the most affected.
