“Our son is just 5 months old. You all made me a widow at 24” – Singer Mohbad’s wife cries out

In the wake of the tragic passing of singer Mohbad, news hit the internet that the singer not only left an heir before his demise but also got married to the mother of his son, Omowunmi.

On Tuesday, the tragic news of the death of Mohbad sent waves to the entertainment industry and the country at large.

A devastated Omowunmi who obviously couldn’t handle this pain alone took to social media to disclose that she and the talented music star joyfully welcomed a baby boy named Liam just five months ago.

Posting via her Instagram page, Wunmi recounted how they dated for 10 years before they welcomed their son, Liam. She said Mohbad was a good partner to her and that when she was pregnant with their son, he gave her everything she needed.

She also disclosed that her late husband struggled until he died. She claimed he was threatened and being made to look like a junkie. She said Mohbad was so worried for her and their son that he began plans for them to relocate abroad. 

Through a series of heartfelt posts on her Instagram page, this mother of one threw so many rhetorical questions, asking her fate as a 24-year-old with a five-month-old son.

“Liam is just five months today. Where do I start from?

Somebody should help me I can’t do this alone

Our love story was a different one, we fought really hard to be here. Ahhhhh I don’t wish this type of pain on anyone.

We had so many pains, two responsibilities have now become one. You were my ride or die, I tried my best to make you stay Ileriouluwa. Ahhhhh I repeat I don’t wish this type of pain on anyone”.
