PDP To Reassess Rivers State Caretaker Committee List
The Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has pledged to reassess the Rivers State Caretaker Committee list, which has caused a dispute between Governor Similaye Fubura and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
The decision to re-evaluate the list was made following a meeting between the party’s governors and the NWC in Abuja, prior to the party’s Caucus meeting that took place in Abuja on Wednesday night.
Hon. Debo Ologunagba, National Publicity Secretary of the party, read the one item resolution of the meeting.
He said, “The issue of Rivers State Caretaker Committee List was raised at the meeting of PDP Governors and the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) and it was resolved that a political solution should be applied to resolve all the issues related thereto.
“Consequently, the PDP Governors’ Forum directed that the National Working Committee of the PDP revisit the issue of the Rivers State Caretaker Committee List.”
