Real Madrid seal comfortable over Barcelona in much anticipated El Clasico

Real Madrid maintained their unbeaten run this season, as they reigned supreme over Barcelona in the 250th El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabue.

The defending Champions were already two goals up at half time, thanks to Karim Benzema and Federico Valverde. 

Ferran Torres pulled one back for the visitors in the 83rd minute before youngster, Rodrygo converted a penalty in added time to seal the win and hand Xavi’s side their first defeat of the season. 

The result leaves Madrid at the top of the table, three points ahead of Barcelona
