EPL; Liverpool ends Man City’s unbeaten run in heated encounter

Liverpool put their very best foot forward to put an end to Manchester City’s unbeaten run in all competitions this season, in a fiery premier league encounter at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been having a frustrating season and have lost to Manchester United and Arsenal in the premier league already.

But the Reds didn’t let any of that deter them as they squared up against the defending Champions who have been enjoying a stellar season and got the better of them.

After playing out a goalless first half, Phil Foden put Pep Guardiola’s side ahead in the 55th minute, but the goal got ruled out after a VAR review

Both sides kept going at it but it was Mo Salah’s 76th minute that made the difference, giving Liverpool a much needed win.

As expected, with the goal, the tempo of the game skyrocketed and Liverpool coach got sent off for putting up a protest, following what he believed was a foul on Salah.
