Real Madrid to let four players go in January

The January transfer window will be opening shortly and Real Madrid is more or less clear which players they will listen to offers for. According to ‘Marca’, Isco, Marcelo, Gareth Bale, and Eden Hazard are free to leave the Santiago Bernabeu if they are want to do.

Carlo Ancelotti has players who he could not do without, but there are others who hardly feature in his plans. Real Madrid could solve this by selling them in January, taking advantage of the fact that the window also opens then. Some sales could be done to reduce the number of players at the club and, at the same time, get a good amount of money for them.

According to ‘Marca’, four players will have the right to leave in the January transfer window. These are Marcelo, Isco, Bale, and Hazard. None of them are indispensable for the club.

Marcelo, Isco, and Bale see their contracts run out in June 2022. The club will, therefore, look to find a place for them at other teams before June. January is the last chance they have to get some money for their sales.

Real Madrid is clear that they do not count on them beyond that date. Given that there will be no new contract for Marcelo, Isco, and Bale, the club will listen to offers for the trio.

Eden Hazard’s case is different. His contract runs until 2024, but injuries have meant he has missed many games through injury. Ancelotti does not count on him and the player himself is reportedly open to leaving the Bernabeu in the next edition of the transfer window.

Hazard is not having a good time. He wants to play and he sees himself without a chance of playing regularly for Real Madrid. That is why he is thinking of packing his bags even before June comes.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti will count on all of them while they are still at the club, ‘Marca’ says, but all of them have footballers ahead of them in the pecking order. If they want to be in the XI before leaving, they will have to work really hard for it.
