Sam Larry Finally Arrested over Mohbad’s Death Investigations
Music Promoter, Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, aka Sam Larry, has finally been nabbed by the Nigerian Police, in connection with the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as MohBad.
Sam Larry, an ally of Naira Marley, has been trending since the news of the death of MohBad.
Although he and Naira Marley had stated innocence in the matter, many had called for their arrest over the multiple face-offs with MohBad, evident in the several videos of harassment and bullying which found its way to the internet upon his demise.
On Thursday night, SP Benjamin Hudeyin, spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, announced that Sam Larry was in custody.
“Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation,” Hundeyin said.
No sooner than Hudeyinbannounced this than Sam Larry started trending on Twitter, topping the trends at number one. Leaked videos of how he was nabbed by the police upon his arrival at the airport also made its way to the internet.
In the viral video, Sam Larry was being escorted by the police to ensure his safety, preventing him from being attacked by a crowd of enraged fans and concerned citizens who have been demanding answers and justice for Mohbad.
Meanwhile, actress Tonto Dikeh who has been on the frontline demanding justice for the late singer revealed that Sam Larry actually tried to sneak into the country but was apprehended at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
