Singer Zac Brown separates from wife Kelly Yazdi after four months of marriage

Zac Brown, the lead singer of Zac Brown band, 45, and Yazdi, 32, announced they are divorcing in a joint statement, after four months of marriage.

“We are in the process of divorce,” the pair told TMZ. “Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.”

The estranged couple got married in August in Georgia. 

“He proposed in Hawaii a while ago,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “It was very intimate and the couple has kept it very private.”

Speculation of the couple being enmeshed in a marital crisis began after fans noticed Kelly had disappeared from Instagram, and when she reactivated her account, she took Brown’s name off her bio.

She also stopped following Zac on Instagram, and took down all posts and photos that included him.

This was the second marriage for Brown who was previously married to jewelry designer Shelly Brown. The pair announced their split in October 2018 after 12 years of marriage. They share five kids: son Alexander, 9, and daughters Joni, 12, Georgia, 13, Lucy, 15, and Justice, 16.
