Tottenham reign superior over 10-man Arsenal

Tottenham were the better side in the North London derby against Arsenal as a 3-0 victory saw them edge closer to booking a place in next season’s Champions League.

Harry Kane scored a spot-kick to give Spurs in the 22nd minute, eleven minutes later, Arsenal got reduced to 10 men when Rob Holding was shown a second yellow card for a foul on Son, shortly after, Kane doubled the lead.

Two minutes after the break, Son made it three for the home side.

A win could have confirmed Arsenal’s place in the top four and set them on course for Champions League football next season, but the result leaves Arteta’s men a point ahead of Tottenham with two games to go, and a lot of work if they intend on partaking in the Champions League.
