Update: Nollywood Veteran Filmmaker Chico Ejiro To Be Laid To Rest On February 20.

Nollywood veteran filmmaker Chico Ejiro will be buried on February 20, 2021. We reported the filmmaker died on Christmas, December 25, after suffering from a seizure.

His burial announcement was revealed in a statement on Tuesday, January 5, by his elder brother Zeb Ejiro, a filmmaker.

According to the statement released by Zeb Ejiro, Late Chico died of complications from High Blood Pressure on December 25. He wrote:

”His demise followed complications arising from high blood pressure for which he had been treated. He had returned delightfully to the only business he was so passionate about and had concluded his movie shoot barely two days before Christmas. His painful death was a tragic drama that took less than 10 minutes, and there was silence.”

Zeb stated that late chico had spent his last six years catering for his youngest child’s survival, who was diagnosed with cancer-related ailments.

He also revealed that chico’s wife, Joy Ejiro, recently returned from the United States of America with their son for the festive holiday after two years before the tragic news.
