World Cup: Richarlison double earns Brazil winning start

Richarlison scored twice to put Brazil on a winning path at the World Cup. 

A resolute Serbia kept the Samba boys at bay throughout the first half, and it wasn’t until the 63rd minute of the game that the Tottenham forward broke the deadlock. 

Eleven minutes later, Richarlison picked up Vinicius Junior’s pass to home a mind-blowing bicycle kick, doubling the lead and giving his country a much-needed win. 

Brazil, one of the favourites to win the tournament, are top of Group G put tied on points with Switzerland who defeated Cameroon 1-0 earlier on Thursday.
