Zinoleesky Speaks On Co-operating With NDLEA After his Arrest
Marlian Record Artiste, Oniyide Azeez, popularly known as Zinoleesky, has officially spoken up about his encounter and cooperating with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after his recent arrest.
At the very late hours of February 24, Zinoleesky along with Mohbad and some artistes under Marlian Music label were apprehended after the NDLEA official raided their apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
According to the Daily Times, who spoke to a spokesperson of the NDLEA, the singers were arrested because they were found in possession of drugs (molly and cannabis).
However, Zinoleesky, who was released 48 hours after his arrest, shared a video on his Instagram. First, he thanked his fans and family for their support during his trying time.
He also lamented about the deteriorating state of Nigeria, saying “There’s no joy for the country anymore.”
In another post, the singer wrote: “update-Finally finally, we go all dey alright.”
Talking about the his encounter with the NDLEA and how it escalated and blew out of proportion, he stated that he and his team will be co-operating with the anti-drug agency in order for them to complete their investigation. He ended his statement by imploring everyone to say “no” to drugs.
