Actor Musiliu Ajikanle dies in his sleep, weeks after receiving N3million for treatment

Nollywood actor, Musiliu Ajikanle has given up the ghost, after being bedridden for over seven years, and has reportedly passed away.

According to reports, Musiliu Akisanya passed away in his sleep on Sunday night.

News of his death was made known by his son who confirmed to a blog, as well as revealed that his father has been laid to rest according to Muslim rite.

Nollywood filmmaker and actor Saliu Gbolagade shared a picture of the deceased;

“Ina Lilah Waina Allah Rajiun. God gave each of us the gift of life, and God gifted us with eternal life.

“Rest well, my dear friend Musiliu Ajikanle, your footsteps can never be filled, nor your love ever forgotten. May the blessings and peace of a good life lived follow you into heaven.”

Yoruba movie celebrities like Ayo Mogaji, Fathia Balogun, Sola Kosoko, and actor Portable took to the comments section to express their condolences.

The news of his demise is coming just a few weeks after philanthropist clergyman, Pastor Gabriel raised over N3 million for his medical expenses.
