Actress Meagan Good and Devon Franklin split after nine years of marriage

American actress, Meagan Good, and Devon Franklin have called a quit on their marriage of nine years.

The duo made this shocking announcement via their social media handles.

“After much prayer and consideration we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected

We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love,” their statement continued. “We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other”, their post reads.

Interestingly, Meagan’s husband took to his Instagram a few weeks ago to support his wife’s new Amazon Prime series, “Harlem”. He also shared a trailer from the show with his followers.

He wrote in the caption “Gushing about Good”,

‘I’m so proud of my love @Meagangood! She’s one of the most talented actors on the planet AND she’s funnier than you may know but I’m so glad you finally get a chance to see her do it all as Camille Parks in the new Amazon show #Harlem @Harlemonprime!!’

Meagan responded in the comments to say: ‘My Loooove… thank you. Heart’ah’smilin. Love you!’

The couple met on set in 2011 during the filming of ‘Jumping the Broom’, an American romantic comedy-drama.

They tied the knot in Malibu, California, in June 2012, three months after Devon proposed.

The couple was famously known to be outspoken about their celibacy journey before getting married in 2012

The pair documented their Christian romance and courtship in the 2015 book and they co-authored the book called “The Wait: A Powerful Practice for Finding the Love of Your Life” and “The Life You Love”.
