Adekaz Addresses Claims that his First Wife built the house he lives with Mercy Aigbe
Kazim Adeoti, popularly known as Adekaz, husband of actress Mercy Aigbe has debunked claims by his first wife, Oluwafunsho that she built their matrimonial home.
Empire earlier reported that Funsho publicly issued a stern warning to Mercy Aigbe to steer clear of her properties, alongside a 12-hour ultimatum that reads;
“@Realmercyaigbe @adekazproduction For the LAST AND FINAL TIME ‘STOP PUNSHING ME’ Kazim do the needful PULL IT DOWN… YOU”VE BEEN WARNED. 12 HOURS ONLY”.
However, she didn’t reveal what prompted her to call them out on social media, but there have been speculations that the house Mercy Aigbe is currently living with her new husband, Kazim Adeoti was jointly built with his first wife, Funsho, who allegedly contributed over 70% of the money used in building the house before she left Nigeria.
In a recent development, Adekaz decided to set things straight on the ownership of the house in question.
Kazim Adeoti stated in a now-deleted posts on his Instagram page that his first wife’s claims were erroneous. And her claims are understandable because she is obviously angry that he married a second wife.
He also clearly stated that in as much as there is nothing bad in husband and wife building a house together, he single-handedly built the house he lives in with his wife.
He also explained that, while his first wife had provided some furnishings for their home in which he later reimbursed.
His post reads in parts;
“I have read many things that have been written about me and my family. Many of which are fabricated lies and some directly from my first wife (which understandably is angry I married a second wife).
“In as much as there is nothing bad in husband and wife building house together, in my case, we did not. I built the house by myself.
When I was furnishing the house, she bought some furnishing materials and part of the money I have refunded. My second wife had added some furnishing to the house as well.
It is not in my character to speak ill of people who were once friends, not to talk of my first wife (who is still my wife as we speak). I will not speak ill of her for the sake of good and bad times we shared and the good kids that God gave us”.
