Arsenal crash out of FA Cup
Two late goals, including an own goal from Jakub Kiwior, helped Liverpool knock Arsenal out of the FA Cup.
Following a goal-less first half, Kiwior, headed home Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick, in the 80th minute to open the scoring, before Luis Diaz sealed things off just at the stroke of the clock.
The result, a rather disappointing one, adds to the current decline in Arsenal’s forms, as Mikel Arterta’s side dropped from the top of the EPL to fourth place, with Liverpool replacing them at the top.
MANCHESTER CITY 5 – 0 Huddersfield Town
In another FA Cup fixture, defending champions, Man City made light work of Huddersfield Town, putting five goals past them to kick off their title defence.
