Arsenal extend lead with 2-1 win over Wolves

Arsenal have put four points gap between them and Manchester City following a 2-1 win over Wolverhampton at the Emirates.

Off the back of an impressive 6-0 victory over Lens in the UCL during the week, Mikel Arterta’s side took the lead six minutes into the game, courtesy of Bukayo Saka’s low strike.

About seven minutes later, Arsenal’s captain, Martin Odegaard made it two with a lovely team goal, an advantage the host maintained into the break.Β

Wolves grew into the game after the break and their efforts paid off late on when Matheus Cunha pulled one back in the 86th minute, but it was a little too late as Arsenal held on to till the end of the game.Β
