Chelsea suffer defeat to Brentford

Chelsea were handed a 2-0 defeat by Brentford at Stamford Bridge, courtesy of second-half goals from Ethan Pinnock and Bryan Mbeumo.

The defeat was a very disappointing one as Chelsea were statistically the better side, but missed to take their chances and paid dearly for it.

The defeat, Chelsea’s 4th of 10 games this season, sees them drop to 11th on the log, while Brentford moved up to 10, a point ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
