Davido breaks silence on Dammy Krane’s debt allegations, exposes how fed him for 3 years when he was homeless

Award-winning music star, Davido, has responded to his colleague, Oyindamola Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane regarding his allegations of unpaid debts.

A few days back, Dammy Krane accused  Davido of owing him money and being reluctant to settle the debt.

“I know it is hard for Rich people to pay debts but #davido if not for my sake Blooda, Pay me my money at least because of my daughter’s sake (your niece if at all) school fees no easy for Naija now o, na everybody dey try to secure their future. Na money we want no be wahala o”, Dammy wrote on X.

In another tweet, he wrote: “Let’s not forget @davido you took Idowest from my record label, I didn’t talk because I saw you as a brother, neither did I drag the artiste (cos I had done my part to help him), Genuinely I want to know why you don’t want to pay me for a song you tweeted that I wrote afterall.”

Dammy Krane also posted on his social media page, recalling an incident from 13 years ago.

He wrote: “who brought out this tweet factually  I was the first person to call David ‘On the Beat is Davido’ when he produced “Pooner’ for me  in 2010 ( 13 years ago)  we was like Dbanj & Donjazzy”

On October 27, Dammy Krane posted on the same social media platform, using wordplay on Davido’s nickname ‘OBO’ to say, “Owe B Owe, Owe Owe One, DAVID-Owe. Please pay me my money, I’m not begging you, it is payment for my work! You don’t have to run away.”

Responding to the allegations, Davido maintained that he does not owe Dammy Krane, instead, Dammy is the one owing him for the three verses he contributed to Dammy Krane’s song nine years ago.

Davido also recollects the acts of kindness he had extended to him several years ago when Dammy Krane needed help and was homeless.

Davido said, “I never got paid for that also my 3 verses I’ve gifted you all your dead career… .. oh yea plus my royalties, we charge now so that’s about $ 150k x3 a verse.. also house rent and food when u stayed in my house in Atlanta when you were homeless…The level of ungratefulness is alarming … lesson learnt. STREET NO GET MEMORY.”
