D’banj Claims Donjazzy Refused to help him grow his Musical Career
D’banj has awakened the controversial issue that caused the end of his once rosy friendship with ex-partner, Don Jazzy by reposting a fan’s opinion post.
The opinion post, which was shared on D’banj’s instastory talks about how Don Jazzy’s choice to be content with whatever he had at that moment wasn’t of any help to D’banj who was ready to take on opportunities that will help in his future endeavours.
In the post, the fan shared his opinion on why Dbanj and Don Jazzy could have made Afro beats bigger outside Africa when Kanye West gave them the chance He said Don Jazzy was comfortable with the Africa best producer tag while Dbanj had a bigger goal.
The user identified as @Iamtunice wrote, “DBanj saw the future and was ready to go all out but at that time he needed a Don Jazzy behind him but Don Jazzy was carried away by the homage he gets as one of the best producers in Africa (if not the best).
Kanye West gave them an opportunity on a platter of gold and all they needed to do was make #afrobeats on a world stage. Don Jazzy was satisfied with being a big fish in a river when he can be a whale in the ocean.”
Dbanj reposted the controversial post on his Instagram page which signified that he agreed with the user, although he maintained that he wasn’t the one that made the post and that he’s not pissed or angry with anyone, as the post implied.
