EPL: Chelsea bags comfortable win as Man City secures three points with a narrow win

Chelsea put up an impressive display to keep a fourth clean sheet in a row as Frank Lampard’s side beat Burnley 3-0 with Hakim Ziyech scoring on his first Premier League start.

Ziyech put the visitors in front in the 28th minute to become the first Chelsea player since Diego Costa in 2014 to score on his first two starts for the club in all competitions.

Kurt Zouma powered home his third goal of the Premier League season in the 62 minutes from a Mason Mount corner.

Then German Timo Werner wrapped up the points with a superb finish in the 70th minute to send Burnley bottom of the league.

It is the first time Chelsea have kept a successive league clean sheets since Lampard took charge last year and they are now unbeaten in six games in all competitions.

Winless Burnley sits bottom of the table after losing five of their opening six top-flight matches for the first time since 1927-28.

Meanwhile, a Kyle Walker 28 minute goal was enough to hand Manchester City three-point away from home.
