EPL: Chelsea, Liverpool share the spoils in trilling encounter

Chelsea came from two goals down to earn a draw against Liverpool in a pulsating encounter at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool who were without their, manager, Kurgen Klopp, due to a suspected positive test for Covid-19, shoot off to a brilliant start with two goals from Mane and Salah. 

It looked like the visitors were on track for a halftime lead when Chelsea, staged a comeback through goals from Mateo Kovacic and Christian Pulisic, giving the game higher stakes.

After the break, both teams had the chance to win and take all three points, but failed to convert their chances. 

The result leaves Chelsea, in second place, 10 points behind City, who came from behind to defeat Arsenal in their first gave of the year on Saturday, while Liverpool, in third, are 11 adrift of the leaders with a game in hand.
